This dish is a quick appetizer for any gathering! I served it for dinner, and it was filling, but there are many ways to combine a salad with this dish too. All you need are some simple ingredients and you’re on your way to a yummy and healthy meal.
medium peppers-I used assorted red, yellow, and orange peppers
1 lb. turkey
1 cup cream cheese
Follow These Easy Steps
Begin by pan frying your turkey. Then add about 1tbsp. of taco seasoning. Let sit. Then, carve out your peppers into little boats. Add your turkey into a bowl and add 1 cup of cream cheese and fiesta cheese. Mix. Heat your oven to broil. Scoop the turkey mixture into your pepper boats and sprinkle cheese on top. Place them onto a sheet pan.
Broil on high for about 3-5 minutes. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.Let cool and enjoy!
My sister is a vegetarian, so she is going to substitute the turkey with avocado. There are many ways to alter this recipe with the meats, or other options that you prefer. The taco seasoning gives it a kick, but you could certainly add your own twist! I’d love to hear how you changed the recipe! Please remember to share this recipe with your friends and family. It’s a sure winner!
