The BGH “To-Do List” And A Challenge! Want to join me?

It seems like our “To-Do” list keeps getting longer and longer. But, this year I am so hopeful and know that we have a list and that’s what matters when it comes to getting stuff D-O-N-E in our home and on our property.

Having a “To-Do” List has to work in such a way where it doesn’t cause stress. So many times people make lists, but then feel so discouraged when they don’t have the funds at the moment to accomplish a project.

My Favorite Tip: Mix-Up Your projects with no cost-low cost tasks. That way you can scratch something off of your list.

Start positively funding what you want to accomplish by a certain date and be specific.

It’s an awesome feeling when you can start crossing things off of your list! Since moving into our renovation, we have had 4 dumpsters. This is because we had to also move my parents and a rental home of ours that we sold. So more and more stuff seems to accumulate.

As you can see from my list above, we still have a lot to do. From owning homes for 20 plus years now, I know that being a homeowner comes with ongoing lists. It’s how they are approached is what matters and can either lead you to crossing things off, or drowning in sadness because you are then led to an overwhelming feeling of “We’ll never get things done.” (a bit dramatic I know…).

So here comes the challenge!

I am challenging myself. Do you want to challenge yourself too? I’m vowing to take 3 months and do 2 projects off of our list each month. That way we will have accomplished 6 items off of our list. Can you here that big sccccratch as an item gets done? I can! I am in New England and weather does permit us, but I am NOT going to use that as an excuse for not doing things.

I’d love for you to join me too! Let’s keep each other motivated! AND…If you haven’t gotten my cleaning schedule yet, you should! It’s super easy and do-able!

This is great! I’m so happy that you’re going to join me! So far I have taken all of my clothes out of my closet and gone through each piece. Dave and I have filled up 10 big bags full of clothes! It’s the best feeling! Check! I can’t wait to see what you’ve done!
